Ever wish you could synchronize all your bookmarks across every computer you use; home, work, laptop, etc…? Now its possible with Foxmarks! Foxmarks synchronizes not only bookmarks but also passwords; if enabled.
Install is simple as with all Firefox Addons. After restarting Firefox you are prompted to log in or create an account, after creating an account with username, password, and email address you are ready to go. Sync all your bookmarks to the Foxmakrs server. Then on your second, third, or even fourth computer simply log into Foxmarks and sync all current bookmarks with all your other bookmarks from the other computer. It couldn’t be easier!
Forget to sync? Not a problem! When you close Firefox you are prompted to sync or not sync changes made to your bookmarks. This addon delivers where other applications fail. Could it be any easier?
Now we just have to wait for Google online storage.
1943 Cartoon ‘Der Fuehrer’s Face’ is the story of Donald Duck living life under Nazi rule. The message was purely war propaganda. Where are the Iraq, Iran, Pakistan…etc cartoons?
Raffstar is a great new website that I learned about while watching Diggnation. Not only can you win free prizes (at no cost to you!) but you help support charities. Now I know this sounds too good to be true, I thought so too; but its totally legit! Some of the prizes include, Xbox 360s, iPods, and gift cards to various retailers.
Now how does this work? Once you have registered your account, which is totally free of charge, you are ready to start gathering tickets. You are allowed one ticket per hour on each item, but you only get a ticket when you manually go and select the item. Some of the auctions last for a certain amount of days and others go until a set amount of tickets are given out. When the auctions are completed ten winners are selected, the first person on the list then has an hour to claim their prize. If they don’t claim it within the hour it goes to the next person on the list and so on until someone claims the prize.
So onto the prizes; lets take Diggnation for example, they donated a Diggnation package of shirts and earbuds to raise awareness and earn money for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Each auction supports a different charity that is chosen by the organization donating the product. Money is earned for the charities from the traffic generated on the page for that item.
So free stuff, support good causes, and something to do while at work! Go to www.raffstar.com today and sign up!
What will these guys do today?

What is the best part of this merger? For me at least its all of the Verizon phones coming over to Alltel! Now before everyone stops reading let me explain myself. I’ve been stuck with Alltel for the past 4 years because no one else has had decent service where I live, Alltel is the only real option here. In my opinion Alltel has always had a very limited selection and somewhat dated list of phones. Yeah, they do have the Curve, MotoQ, LG Dare, etc… But they don’t carry, the Bold, the Storm, or the G1 Android. Now of course all of these won’t come over because not even Verizon carries them but I just want to illustrate how much the Alltel phone list sucks. Its really unfortunate for Alltel customers that they have to wait for a merger like this to have more modern phones as a choice.
I’ve been a long time fan of the office; just can’t get enough of “thats what she said jokes”. A friend of mine recently sent me this picture and I hope you find it as funny as I did.

The new Xbox 360 dashboard is finally here! After months of anticipation I finally turned on my Xbox to be greeted with the download updates message. The dash board has been totally rebuilt and offers many new features. One feature that many people, excluding myself however, are excited about is the introduction to the new “mii” avatars (as they’ve been coined).
Now onto the biggest improvement in my opinion, streaming Netflix movies! I’ve been long debating whether or not to subscribe to Netflix but this new feature on the 360 has sold me. I signed up and started my account. New users are given a two week trial, and can then opt in or out of the service which costs the low monthly price of $8.99 (the lowest packet, only one physical movie rented at a time). The set up is very simple, you are given an activation code on your 360, this code is entered into your Netflix profile on their website and you’re ready to go. Just add movies to your “Watch Instantly Queue” and you can stream these movies at anytime! The quality is amazing and buffer times are relatively low, around 20 to 30 seconds.
In a perfect world this service would be flawless but of course there are problems. Firstly the library of movies you can stream live is currently small. Don’t get me wrong there are hundreds if not thousands of titles that you can stream, one example is I’m currently streaming the cult classic “Eraser Head” which is extremely hard to find in retailers or movie rental stores yet, Netflix allows me to watch this movie with never leaving my home. Also something I found out while trying to stream “Walk Hard: the Dewey Cox Story” is that not all of the streaming movies can be played on the 360, this was a disappointment also. The only other problem I’ve had is after starting a movie maybe 30 seconds into it the movie stops and a warning message comes up saying that my internet connection has slowed and that Netflix is readjusting to bring me an uninterrupted movie. This happens once or twice at the start of each movie for me but then clears up and I’m not bothered by it anymore.
Netflix joining with Microsoft on this deal was a very good business move for them in my opinion. They’ve gained one more customer, me, because of being available on the 360. I can now stream movies, have movies arrive to my mailbox, and never have to pay a late fee again how did I live before this!
That’s what she said; but…I’ve wanted to start a blog for a while now and I finally got a chance to work on it. Not really sure what to expect as far as content but check back and we’ll see what gets up on here. Enjoy!
